Selby's Restaurant Table Hinge turns a square table into a round table, increasing the surface area 58 percent! Hinges are used on the four sides of the square to make a large round table. It can also be used on the ends of a rectangular table to lengthen it. The hinge features heavier steel, a stronger spring steel holdup clip to hold up heavier leaves, and precision assembly for durability & ease of function. The extension flaps fold flat under table top, opening 180° to provide secure extension. Tighter fitting of the coils ensures flat opening. Automatically locks in both open and closed positions. Peening of the ends locks the pins in place. The hinge is constructed of heavy steel with a brass plated finish, and sold as a set of 8 hinges with special deep thread wood cutting screws.
