SMOVE, the new soft closing piston for S series hinges Excentra and Excenthree. The S series hinge line includes overlays from 1” to 1-7/16”. For best performances, select the position and fix the Smove on the hinge side in relation to the Overlay of the door. Adjust the CAM on the adapter (positive or negative adjustment) to fine tune the closing speed.

Best performing position:
1. On the Rail (Top), using the fixing arm as a spacer and reference point (lip), for small overlays from 1/4” to 3/4”.
2. On the Style (Side), using the fixing arm as a reference point (lip), for big overlays from 1” to 1-7/16”.

With the Face Frame hinges the variables in performance are many. Different Overlays, door weight and size, hinge and Smove adjustment ALL have an effect in the soft closing performance of a door. Open and close the door to verify closing speed and adjust if necessary.
